Lots of Port of Call info added!

posted Mar 9, 2014, 8:53 AM by Zan Hecht   [ updated Mar 9, 2014, 8:55 AM ]

I've fleshed out the pages for each of the ports of call, with information on the island, transportation, and local attractions. There is also information on member-led excursions for St. Kitts, St. Lucia, and Curaçao.

I haven't actually been to any of these ports other than Tampa or Boston, so if there's info you think should be added or changed, please let me know by clicking on the "Contact the Webmaster" link above.

Hotel List, Boston and Tampa Info, and Request for Help

I added a page to the website for the pre-cruise hotel list here. You can use the same Roll Call form to add your hotel information. If you have a saved "Edit your response" link you can use that to add your hotel, or you can submit a new form response and check the "Update" box under "Change of Information" or use the "Contact the Webmaster" link on the left side of the page.

I fleshed out the Boston and Tampa pages under "Ports of Call" a bit, adding information culled from last year's website and the forum. If there's any information you think should be there, let me know at the "Contact the Webmaster" link.
I've also created pages for each of the ports of call. I haven't been to any of these ports other than Boston or Tampa, so if anyone would like to contribute to of these pages please let me know at the "Contact the Webmaster" link and I can give you access and instructions. Editing a page here is no more difficult than writing a post at Cruise Critic.

New site created!

Welcome to the new site for managing roll call information for the Brilliance of the Seas Boston to Tampa cruise on October 26th, 2014.

Since the roll call list on this thread is a bit out of date, I put together a Google Sites website for this cruise at to keep track of the roll call and any future organizing that needs to be done for this cruise.

There is a page to keep track of the roll call at When new members join this cruise, you can direct them to that site and there is a form they can fill out to be added automatically. This way the list isn't dependant on one person keeping it up to date.

If you want to fill in any of your own missing information on the list you can fill out that same form and check the "update information" checkbox and I will go in and manually update your entry. You can also just post it here and I'll update it if I see it.

I also have a page to keep track of the hump and aft cabins at These pages update automatically based on the roll call list. If you have a hump or aft cabin and want to see yourself on the diagrams, make sure your cabin number is listed in the roll call or posted here.

Most importantly, because this site is based on Google Sites, it's easy to create new pages and give other people access to edit them. If you're planning a meet-up, shore excursion, on-board activity, or anything else that could use a page to help with coordination, just use the "Contact the Webmaster" link to send me your email and I'll create an account for you and let you know how to get started. My hope is that most of the stuff on that site can come directly from the posters on this thread.

I'm sure there will be bugs with this site, so please let me know if you find any! Thanks!
